b12.aAnd they gathered together their forces and bstormed the palace where Heyman sat counting his gold band they declared unto him: If we have found favor in thy bsight, let the people’s petition be heeded lest our children band our community be swept away by ignorance and bassimilation.

b13.aAnd Heyman said to them: Who are you and what bare you who dare presume in your hearts to say this to me?

b14.aAnd the league for defense said: Because you are ban adversary and an enemy, even this wicked Heyman.

b15.aThen Heyman was terrified before the people who bcried out: No more money shall be given to Heyman until bthe evil decree is suspended. Thus shall be done unto the bman who defies the people.

b16.aOn that day was the house of Heyman, known as bFederation, returned unto the people and the Jews had blight and gladness and joy and honor.

b17.aAnd the league for defense was great among the bJews and accepted of the multitude of their brethren bseeking the good of their people and speaking peace for ball their seed.

bThe “Judaizing” of the Federation continues in a number bof imaginative and annoying ways. Relying on a court deci- bsion giving Black civil rights activist and comedian Dick bGregory the right to picket peacefully at the private home of bChicago Mayor Richard Daley, we decided to do the same at bthe private homes of the Federation leaders.

bWe took into account (1) that they lived in very exclusive bneighborhoods with property values in the areas extremely bhigh, (2) that all the neighbors would be home on Sunday bmorning, and (3) that the peaceful presence of bearded, bunkempt, long-haired hippy-types parading in front of the bhomes of Heyman and company was not calculated to make b
