bFrom the article one can already see an important differ- bence between the JDL and other Zionist organizations. bWhereas all the others and the Israeli Government’s Jewish bAgency, which controls aliyah, attempt to bring over West- bern immigrants with basically positive arguments, such as b“Come to the Jewish land where you will be a majority; find byour roots; begin a new life for your family,” I maintained bthat such arguments would ultimately be futile in creating bany large and meaningful Western aliyah.
